Brighton Local Posted September 1, 2011 Share #2 Posted September 1, 2011 Nice Man! See, if Phoenix's METRO System had some ballast in revenue area's, I think I would have alot more respect for the line..
C40LFR Posted September 1, 2011 Share #3 Posted September 1, 2011 Nice Man! See, if Phoenix's METRO System had some ballast in revenue area's, I think I would have alot more respect for the line.. LA's light rail is more of a 'light' metro. Unlike many other light rail systems, our trains are high floor, have top speed of 55 on private ROW, and there tons of grade separations.(The green line light rail line is fully grade separated with a max speed of 65) The only thing that's lacking is signal priority on some street running sections. Phoenix's and Houston's Metro Rail acts more like a European Tram than anything.
