topological vs. geographical

Recommended Posts

Hello there!

It's me again, Rhona Nolan. I am a graphic design student from Ireland and I am doing my thesis on the New York subway map.

I was just wondering that if they issued a transit/schematic subway map that was designed correctly to the grid of New York would you as a subway user accept and embrace it?

Would be great if you can answer this and my other question.

Thank you all so much!

Something like that is why I've always liked the Kick map better than the current official map layout. It shows each line on its own.
