Does anybody know what rolling stock was used on the temporary Broadway B and D of the late 1980s? I know they were definitely using at least one of the series R40, R40M, R42, but sometimes I wonder if they were also using then-new series R68 and R68A. Not sure if those even have the yellow B/D signs.

The Bbdwy.jpg was definitely using R40 Slants. It would display the :Bbdwy.jpg and the BBdwyAstoriaExp.png during Rush Hours. Also have seen pictures with the bexp2.png being displayed.

 

The (D), I would say was using R42s, not really as much as 68A's.

 

The (Q) I believe was using pre-GOH R 32s/R 42s.
