metsfan 2 Posted June 11, 2008 Author Share #3 Posted June 11, 2008 Damn its still having problems Lightning struck the track area & fried a signal. 2 trains were back to back by harrison because of it, the one in the back slammed on its brakes automatically when the signal system went down. - Andy

metsfan 2 Posted June 11, 2008 Author Share #5 Posted June 11, 2008 Ouch B) damn I feel bad for ppl whom took that train 2day My girlfriend was on the train that slammed on the brakes. She got tossed out of her seat. She heard extremely loud thunder, but didn't see the lightning, the thunder was associated with the brake application. - Andy

Yea, she's fine, aside from having her trip from newark to jsq take an hour after the jolt with constant stops & starts.... - Andy
Pablo M 201 35 Posted June 11, 2008 Share #8 Posted June 11, 2008 Damn, PATH was really having a bad day. Had to work on two lines before the next morning. They did fix what was needed on the red line pretty fast but yellow and blue lines were still down.
