mark1447 Posted September 28, 2011 Share #1 Posted September 28, 2011 An All Nippon Airways passenger plane carrying 117 passengers on board experienced a little bit of a scare earlier this month. Why? Because a numb-brained pilot accidentally almost made a Boeing 737-700 fly belly up, as in upside freaking down. A 737 is not a freaking stunt plane. It shouldn't be barrel rolling, belly upping in the sky—especially with passengers on board. Amazingly everyone is safe, only two flight attendants were hurt and only a few passengers complained about feeling weird (it was obviously stomach turning). dman1455 Posted September 29, 2011 Share #6 Posted September 29, 2011 Good point the reason I hate flying is 9/11. 9/11... really? And then people wonder why cops don't like railfans. They put the blame on 9/11.

SevenEleven Posted September 29, 2011 Share #8 Posted September 29, 2011 Sounds like he was training for Oshkosh, lolol. It was a bad mistake but the good thing is that pilots do get trained for things like this. There's a type of stall that leads to a spin that replicates this. The Tram man Posted September 29, 2011 Share #9 Posted September 29, 2011 Get your fact straight, Mark. He was fatigued and was going to open the cockpit door. Both the door control and rudder trim are knobs that you're supposed to turn. Sure, they are different sizes, but they are placed above eachother! Any fatigued pilot or co-pilot can make that mistake.

Word I hate that, but no worries for me I don't videotape often if I do I'm clever.
