The next thing I know the countdown clock says that a to New Lots Av was 2 minutes away. So, I headed to the Downtown Express platform. Sure enough, the pulled into the station. I only took it one stop because I was on my way to school. I managed to recorded the announcement: " This is a Brooklyn Bound Express Train. The next stop is Grand Central - 42nd Street." Happened last week as a matter of fact the day they had the emergency track repair between 96th and 110th/CPN on the S/B - 2 got rerouted via the east side. Sick passenger at 14 Street Union Square, I boarded a on Mott Avenue and it went via 7th Avenue Express, it even ran express on the local tracks in Brooklyn.
