Today, at 59th Street, I was waiting for the . The next thing I know the countdown clock says that a to New Lots Av was 2 minutes away. So, I headed to the Downtown Express platform. Sure enough, the pulled into the station. I only took it one stop because I was on my way to school. I managed to recorded the announcement: " This is a Brooklyn Bound Express Train. The next stop is Grand Central - 42nd Street."

2 via Lex is not that uncommon. Happened last week as a matter of fact the day they had the emergency track repair between 96th and 110th/CPN on the S/B - 2 got rerouted via the east side.

I have seen trains on the Seventh Avenue Line before. If it can happen there it can happen on the Lexington Avenue Line with the (2)'s.

I don't know where the sick passenger was, but there was also a BIE train @42 Street when control told the towers to reroute traffic.

Sick passenger at 14 Street Union Square, I boarded a on Mott Avenue and it went via 7th Avenue Express, it even ran express on the local tracks in Brooklyn.
