R110 photo question

Is it possible to get a photo of the R110A/B from the street without actually going into the yard, I know they are in Concourse or 207 St Yard, but both those yards, particularly concourse has a street where you can get photos from the railing like that Corona yard. and I think one of the (1) stops has a view into 207 St yard.

R110A is back at 239th Home Yard since about last winter. Yes you can take a photo of it. Head to 241st Street on the (2) (Rush Hour 4-5pm best) walk east on 241st Street and you can snap. (IF its not blocked my other fleets) However, you will need a telephoto lens since the R110 is sitting at the bottom part of the Yard. You can take a photo from the end, but just watch out for MTA Security and as long as you dont trespass!

Heres a photo i snapped about a year ago:

(From wikipedia which i uploaded (Seen from 239th End))

For the R110B, you can grab a photo while on the (D) or (Out) of the skool car in that School south of 25th Avenue on the West End. If at 207 then the only thing you will see is just half of it at 215th on the (1) (BX Bound back)

Seperated as in you see just one group of 5 cars or did they split up some of the cars of the 5-car set?

They are split 8001-8005 / 8006-8010 5 by 5

when on the (D) is it visible? and if i opt to go on the 239 street end, do i need a telephoto lens?

On the (D) south of 25th Avenue, you will see (towards East) an R110 school car.

Or you can walk to Avenue V & 13th Street for the R110. (Never checked but in the future will do)

Check this out:

Notice Scarangelle Park? Right of it PS 248 is shown. Looking at the Parking lot in the center you see a long vehicle, thats the R110! (Zoom if you want) Tho u cant see it thru street view).

As for the 239th Yard as i mentioned yes you will need one if you are snapping at 241st, if its south then no, but first is best to go to 241st to determain if it got moved to another part of the Yard. If its next to the shop then yeah you can head down. But use Google Map to plan on getting there, because you cant just go str8 on a block to get there. You need to go via 238th Street & Byron / Barns Avenue for a view. (Barns is where TA security is at)
