go25 Posted October 13, 2011 Share #1 Posted October 13, 2011 with all this talk of shutting down routes and stuff, i have a question: is NJT doing a good job monitoring ridership on the private routes? should it be right to shut down a line without consulting the area(s) that will be affected? Well no, NJT does let their riders know if bus service is being cancelled before cancelling it. They did that when the 134 was cut, and when the 135 and 138 received service cuts.
