FamousNYLover Posted October 29, 2011 Share #1 Posted October 29, 2011 I know New York City Bus Schedule, Long Island Bus and Bee-Line bus schedule shows transfer point to add buses on printed out schedule, but not on MTA Bus Co timestable. Wouldn't it be better if MTA add connecting buses on timestable map?
Mysterious2train Posted October 29, 2011 Share #2 Posted October 29, 2011 Maybe it's just a stylistic choice? Too much work? I dunno.
bknightshadow45 Posted October 29, 2011 Share #3 Posted October 29, 2011 I wonder the same time with the lack of transfer points for the MTA bus timetables. I have no clue for the reason for the lack of transfer points on the timetables.

Kriston Lewis Posted October 29, 2011 Share #5 Posted October 29, 2011 I've had the same question too. MTA Bus Co buses didn't have maps on the buses behind the operator until someone complained to the newspaper.
error46146 Posted October 29, 2011 Share #6 Posted October 29, 2011 Pretty much what CPBO said..MTA Bus is the step-child of the MTA. MTA Bus will always be a step below NYCT.
R32 3348 Posted October 29, 2011 Share #7 Posted October 29, 2011 People should write to the and ask why. Maybe they'll notice and add them in later. EDIT - I just wrote to them suggesting that they add bus transfers to bus schedules & Guide-A-Rides to bus stops. I'll let you guys know when they respond. qjtransitmaster Posted October 29, 2011 Share #8 Posted October 29, 2011 People should write to the and ask why. Maybe they'll notice and add them in later. really would they then finally add schedules to their stops too I find it unacceptable that for over 5 years after a takeover they still can't post schedules for MTA bus corp I don't buy the crap ohh they aren't NYCT BS they are MTA run and deserve the same treatment I do not like playing guess when the bus arrives cause usually I get burned every time. CPBO Posted October 30, 2011 Share #11 Posted October 30, 2011 How about the money they would save from not having to print schedules anymore??
R32 3348 Posted November 1, 2011 Share #12 Posted November 1, 2011 Can't wait for the canned response. lol pretty much... This is in response to your recent e-mail to MTA New York City Transit regarding the bus schedules & Guide-A-Rides at MTA Bus Route Stops. We appreciate your interest in New York City Transit. We have forwarded your complaint to appropriate supervision for review. For your future reference, you can report problems with Guide-A-Ride canisters, as well as the maps and schedules they contain, by calling 1-800-834-1173 or 718-788-1065 , Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., or by sending an e-mail to: transitdisplays@nyct.com. We thank you for taking the time to contact us. I'll be surprised if anything actually happens though. Maybe if multiple people complain?
brokecrazy Posted November 23, 2011 Share #13 Posted November 23, 2011 MTA bus express bus timetables list all the stops. NYCT express bus timetables don't.
