For four weekends the uptown (2)(3) express track is closed from 59th St-96th St, and the downtown (4)(5) express track is closed from 125th St-59th St.

Use the new (W) train that flies and caters to your needs.

(2) runs local 96th Street-Times Square, regular route otherwise.

(3) runs as a shuttle from 148th Street-96th Street ONLY (except overnights when it runs to Times Square)

(4) runs local 125th Street-14th Street and is extended to New Lots Avenue (local after Franklin Avenue) to replace the (3) in Brooklyn.

(5) runs via the (2) from 149th Street-96th Street, then via the (1) to Rector Street, then via South Ferry loop and turning uptown via regular route from Bowling Green-Grand Central (except overnights).

Next:

The Nassau Street line south of Essex is out due to a water main break at the Bowery Station. Trains coming off the Willy B can access the 6th Avenue Line but can't terminate at Essex. Meanwhile, simultaneously, rail conditions on the north end have knocked out service at the Canal Street (A) / (C) / (E) station. Chambers Street and points south can be used and trains can turn north of Chambers.

Another problem provided by me.

A brawl has occured near the South Ferry - Whitehall St. station complex. Due to this, the station is closed for police investigation. Reroute the (1)(N)(R) .

(1): Trains terminate at Rector Street and relay in the station (or using the loop if the station tracks cannot be used)

(R) (And (N) late night): No service between Court Street and Canal Street.

(M) is shortened to Myrtle Av (Shuttle)

(Z) is suspended

(J) replaces (M) to 71st-Continental, All local.

(E) via (R) to Whitehall.

(C) suspended.

(A) in two sections 207th st to 34th st and Chambers to Lefferts or Far Rockaway

From 34th st to Chambers, I suggest people transfer at Times Square to use the (1)(2) and (3) trains.

I would run some extra trains on the 7th av lines.

I think this would cause a heck of a lot of confusion in Manhattan and let alone, i don't think the 160s have a program for a (J) via 6 ave so this will only add to the confusion. I would short turn (J) trains at Myrtle av and run the (M) unchanged to 71st.

Calm down, it's a legitimate question considering the similarities to the previous scenario.

(Z): See first (J) solution.

(M): Single track shuttle, Metropolitan Avenue-Central Avenue.
