Wallyhorse Posted September 24, 2014 Share #4326 Posted September 24, 2014 Alright, a suspicious backpack was found in the morning rush hour in front of the New York Stock Exchange. Because of that, the area south of Fulton Street is restricted. This causes service changes for the 1/2/3/4/5/J/R/Z lines, as well as the Staten Island Ferry. It's up to you how these service changes look like. Mine (I'm assuming Fulton Street station is open and no service can run south of there): and both run regular routes to Chambers Street. runs normal route, runs local to 14th Street and then runs express to Chambers. also runs from Borough Hall station-Flatbush Avenue Single track shuttles operate on both local tracks in both directions between Nevins Street and Borough Hall in Brooklyn. runs 148th Street-34th Street-Penn Station ONLY! runs in two sections: Woodlawn-Brooklyn Bridge with LIMITED service (every 25 minutes) to Fulton Street Borough Hall-New Lots Avenue (replacing the between Franklin Avenue and New Lots) runs normal route-Grand Central ONLY!! runs normal BUT expect delays. and run normal, however, if necessary some and trains do not stop at Fulton OR are diverted to the between West 4th and Jay Street OR terminate on the platform at Chambers AND in Brooklyn some trains if necessary terminate at High Street. and terminate at Chambers Street runs in two sections: 95th Street-Court Street in Brooklyn Canal Street (tunnel level) to 71st-Continental VERY LIMITED service runs via the bridge between Canal Street and DeKalb Avenue
paulrivera Posted September 24, 2014 Share #4327 Posted September 24, 2014 Let me try this: 242 St-Chambers St 241 St-14 St, and shuttle Borough Hall-Flatbush 148 St-34 St Alternating service: Woodlawn-Grand Central Express, Woodlawn-Brooklyn Bridge Local. Shuttle between Atlantic-New Lots Shuttle between Dyre Av-East 180 St. Limited (or short turn ) express train service between 149th and Grand Central. All trains make local stops between Pelham Bay Park and Brooklyn Bridge, no service. Some trains from Manhattan turn at 3 Av-138 St as needed. bypass Fulton St Jamaica Center to Chambers St. No skip-stop service. 71 Av-2 Av/Houston via 63 St/6 Av Local. Some trains may run via 8th Avenue between 5 Av and W4, and some trains may run express on 8th as needed to relieve any congestion. trains make local stops between 57 St and Canal. Also, an shuttle runs from Court St-95 St. Needless to say the SI Ferry won't run. The MTA would run a combo of existing service and shuttle buses from 95 St to St George, and NJT and PATH would "cross honor" Metrocards between NYC and Hoboken/Secaucus, while the HBLR (also cross honoring) and a combo of S89 and MTA shuttle buses would take Staten Islanders the rest of the way. Knowing how the MTA works, The SI express buses would still be charging the $6 fares.

TrainFanInfinity Posted September 25, 2014 Share #4333 Posted September 25, 2014 How does the terminate at 96th Street? It can terminate at 96th Street, then reverse and use the center track. But I forgot that it has to skip all stops to 137th Street.
