Thanks superman465

Reading one of your posts and another post.. Am I to understand it's a wait after the second visit AND a wait after that "Being in the process of TO..

Like you I don't have too much time left that I put in for for this leave.. I have to adjust at work asap if it's gonna run hot and cold like this..

I hear you my leave started mon but my boss said I don't have to begin the leave until the mta calls. My leave ends March 5 so even if I can get a month I'll be ok with that.

There will always be a wait, so many "variables" between any of us getting that final call. Its frustrating but all we can do is wait. So far, that January class has been confirmed. So I'm hoping I can at least have a spot in that one. Edited by Ladyrockstar

There's a December class also correct?

Upon second visit..

I was told that this is for sugar & protein.

as well as they will know you filled out the paperwork as well as this is your second visit..

Can any 2nd visitors confirm?

Can you please clarify what you mean by second visit? I went down for a "second visit" but it was to re-take my drug test because my results were to expire that next week. The physical that you have to take is subjected to a vision and hearing test followed by an EKG.

I'm a new member, been reading for a while. Would like to apply for the next T/O exam. I've been working many years, full time and part time. I want to make sure my employment record is correct. How do they check your employment? Is it all via the IRS and your tax returns? Because I haven't filed yet for the past 2 years, will that matter? And when i've worked part time, i haven't always needed to file. Also do they require exact months or is a year enough? I'm having trouble gathering this information because it's over a span of many years. Any information you have would be helpful.

I took my first visit on 9/7 in which I did urine..  I'm scheduled to be there tomorrow on 12/8.

-I have the HUGE 10 year stack of paperwork.

Then I get sent the paperwork I filled out on on 9/7 to bring with me on 12/8[/quote your visit seems to be to re-take the drug test. Results expire every 90 days. So if you went on 9/7 your results are to expire 12/7. So essentially they are making you come back to take it again. I had to do the same thing.

They don't call it that specifically:  Ebonics for blood pressure to diabetes,

This is what I was told to expect on my second visit.  In terms of filling out the paperwork from the first visit again.

When you go there, they'll know that you're there for the 2nd round, but let them know that you already did the first part. Smh. You see what I mean? I told you, one hand doesn't know what the other is doing with them at HR.

Don't fill it out again. You'll probably be in a class by January. Unfortunately, you have no better choice but to be there all day because they're checking you medically for sugar and protiens, from stem to stern, and you'll be fingerprinted, have you picture taken for your ID, and you'll be sworn in and given your Rule Book and your Induction Book. You'll also be told where and when to report for Orientation which will be at 130 Livingston Street which is near Schermerhorn. Sorry. The only thing that I can guarantee is that if you received the same form again but with the date this week, then don't fill it out again. Let them know that you filled it out the last time you were there. Then they'll take it from there. They'll find out from your last visit and move you along.

What I would do is contact HR again and ask them about filling it out a second time and see what they say. It's better to be safe than sorry because it's possible that for some other reason, you have to fill it out again. How long is the form?

Just fill it out they might have another oversight..

So just bring that with you and let them know that you filled it out already. However, call them and ask them why you're being told to fill it out again. I'm sure it was sent to you as an oversight. The urine test you did the first time was for drugs and alcohol. This time, you'll be tested for everything, from blood pressure to diabetes, to protein, to vision and hearing, to an EKG, your weight, height, I mean everything. Lol!!
It's like being examined for the Armed Forces, that's part of the reason why they call it paramilitary.

omg, this is new news to me. I haven't been called for a physical to date. So what your saying is the "second round" consists of diabetes, proteins etc..testing? I hate this, I'm so confused. The nerve if them to give us list numbers for order but there is no order with processing. Its crazy....I'll keep you guys posted with whatever I know but I'm so over it.
