lilbluefoxie Posted November 2, 2011 #1 Posted November 2, 2011 when I have time now during the week between now and the end of the year, Im grabbing some Long Island Bus shots around Long Island, since this will be my last chance to get em when they are still with the MTA. Today I got two from Hicksville: I plan on visiting a few more spots as the weeks go by, places with lots of photo ops. http://jonstrainphotos.com/buses/n/carno/page1.php All of my LIB shots up untill now are here, sorted by bus number.
lilbluefoxie Posted November 2, 2011 Author #5 Posted November 2, 2011 aside from Freeport, Hempstead, Great Neck, Mineola, and Babylon anyone know any other decent spots for LI Bus photos, preferably an area where multiple buses converge that is not a huge divided highway or anywhere that's a high crime area.

Freeport is a high crime area, at least that's the impression it gave me. During the summer, when I took the N88, there were black guys fighting in the parking lot. Roosevelt Field (watch out for mall security though, they don't like photographers for some stupid reason), Sunrise Mall or the Massapequa train stations on Sunrise Hwy, or even NCC.

Was it really necessary to post "black guys fighting" as opposed to just guys fighting? What's up with that? Not only that, but because of this you got the impression that its a high from area because you saw black guys fighting? Interesting....

No, it wasn't necessary but you watch my N88 video going down to Jones Beach then come back and tell me of the impression you think I got of Freeporters.
lilbluefoxie Posted November 5, 2011 Author #13 Posted November 5, 2011 either way I wasn't planning on going to Freeport or Hempstead.
