Queens Surface Posted November 3, 2011 #1 Posted November 3, 2011 I heard from someone that MNRR might have put their only GP8/9 #750 down for good? Can any MNRR folks clarify on this?
HomeBall Posted November 3, 2011 #3 Posted November 3, 2011 It's hasn't moved from the north end of Harmon yard(N138 stub) in at least 2 years or more and is no longer in the ETT.
AA 8th Avenue Posted November 3, 2011 #4 Posted November 3, 2011 A GP8/9 is a classic four axle diesel locomotive from the 40s or 50s.
Queens Surface Posted November 4, 2011 Author #5 Posted November 4, 2011 er.... whats a Gp8/9 750??? A GP8/9 is a classic four axle diesel locomotive from the 40s or 50s. As AA 8th Avenue explained, here is a visual image of GP9 #750. Source: http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=725683 It's hasn't moved from the north end of Harmon yard(N138 stub) in at least 2 years or more and is no longer in the ETT. Wow, it must be dead for good then....I'm guessing that GP8 #543 was moved off MNRR property for good?
