A protest by at least 100 Detroit Department of Transportation bus drivers today has crippled service for bus riders across the city of Detroit.

I remember reading an article a few months ago about how a woman attended a public hearing and complained about having to wait 3 hours for a bus. Now that's just messed up.

DDOT is a lost cause, and the transit police aren't doing their jobs either. This past summer a woman was waiting too hours at the bus stop and dies of heat exhaustion.

This is definitely an agency that Veolia needs to take over immediately.
