A few visible exterior changes from the previous batch: -Thermoking A/C units instead of Carrier -No more 'smily' slot above the front bumper (like on 40-footers) -Little front window now painted black -No black rubber stripe along the lower side panels (like on 40-footers) Quite happy that the blue front stripe is back, the buses look better with it than without IMO. The NGs are not good buses for any select bus service. And I'm also looking forward to catching one of these on Staten Island, most likely the S79 but hopefully they place some on the S53. Interesting you bring that up. I believe the buses aren't going to 34th street right now because MTA is not changing service levels/frequency until Phase II is up and running.
