Pablo M 201 Posted November 8, 2011 Share #1 Posted November 8, 2011 Well yesterday, things got real interesting. Red & Tan's tyranny in Hudson County is now down to the 10. There was a change of hands with the 4 route which is now run by A&C Bus Corp (Montgomery Westside IBOA), thank the lord Jesus. And the 99S has been replaced with NJT's new 119 route. I did some shooting yesterday morning before heading to work. Also, as MiXxDiDdY caught yesterday, A&C Bus Corp has more new NABIs. I was able to get a shot of 5922 and seen 5923. NyctRman1278 caught 5920, 21, 22, and 23. Academy runs the 119, and they're using state Nova RTS buses that were once used for Rutgers University New Brunswick along with their other state units at their Hoboken facility. I did some shooting yesterday morning before heading to work. Enjoy! And two last shots of RT operating the 4.... I think change was made for the better and hopefully it keeps going.

SirJokaPlaya Posted November 8, 2011 Share #4 Posted November 8, 2011 Nice job guys. I would of thought that Academy would of gotten some of the NABI's from R&T since what are they going to use them for?

Pablo M 201 Posted November 8, 2011 Author Share #6 Posted November 8, 2011 Nice job guys. I would of thought that Academy would of gotten some of the NABI's from R&T since what are they going to use them for? Nah, R&T still uses them for the 10. Hell, some were out on the HBLR shuttle these past two weekends. Academy has extra state buses sitting around the Hoboken facility (i.e. the ex. Rutgers RTS buses) so they'll be using those on their routes out of that garage.

MiXxDiDdY Posted November 8, 2011 Share #8 Posted November 8, 2011 "AWESOME pictures. Wow, some of those 5900s even have the red stripe already. Oh and I peeped the 119 route the other day, as well. Idk if it's confirmed or not but their Novas are all white in the back where the fans are (instead of black like the rest of the Novas). I was riding on the 1 so i couldn't snap a photo"

MiXxDiDdY Posted November 11, 2011 Share #14 Posted November 11, 2011 "Those NABIs look awesome with the red stripe but they need a "Use the Bus Card on this bus" sign in the front. Too bad it's nearly impossible though since they made the windshield so dag-on long"

Exactly, what Q101 said. They're the same company. Share the same facility, same buses (the RTSes at least).
