gregorygrice Posted November 9, 2011 Share #1 Posted November 9, 2011 Haven't posted in a while so I'm back! Water World is Metro North's Rail Washer train that washes leaves off the tracks and prevents trains from having wheel slips and flat wheels. The train consist of two locomotives, for power (one on each side), two tanker cars (that hold water) and MNRR's half caboose with a power generator on it. This train is stored in North White Plains Yard where it originate sson trips and returns. It serves all lines and branches. Here's two videos I took of Water World at my two home stations. gregorygrice Posted November 10, 2011 Author Share #6 Posted November 10, 2011 Which way its heading and is it daily? Daily (Weekdays and rarely Sundays) and it usually heads south. It's goes sertain places each day so places to catch it vary unless you are on the Harlem Line (North of Woodlawn) because if it goes tot he New Haven Line it will reverse there. I caught it again tonight with the same set, but wasn't able to film it because I stupidly left my battery at home.
