I Run Trains 379 Posted June 15, 2008 Share #1 Posted June 15, 2008 Just pick one Boro. Not 2 or 3. Just 1. For me it is Staten Island. Why? Because that's a boro' I'm not familar with, and I'm not out the regularly, so going out there is always a field trip for me!
trainfan22 2,234 Posted June 15, 2008 Share #2 Posted June 15, 2008 Queens for me!! but it has lost a lot of its fun with the fall of the late great PBL. But overall its still fun place to fan.
Pablo M 201 35 Posted June 15, 2008 Share #3 Posted June 15, 2008 For me, it'll be Queens. I would've said SI but alot of their buses suck.
Ken S. 4 Posted June 16, 2008 Share #4 Posted June 16, 2008 Queens, a couple of years ago that is. Nowadays, I'd rather look for charter buses in Midtown now that the PBL colors are gone. Of course, I still have to get some pics of Boltbus and Megabus.

Cait Sith 9,630 Posted June 16, 2008 Share #10 Posted June 16, 2008 Queens AND Staten Island for me. Queens holds my Orion V CNGS, while Staten Island has a rarity of sorts for the buses.
TransitGuy 1 Posted June 16, 2008 Share #11 Posted June 16, 2008 I's say Queens honestly since back when the PBL's existed it was amazing to see all of the different companies in one borough. Today I'd still probably choose Queens since there still is a diverse population of buses in regards to age.

East New York 4,104 Posted June 16, 2008 Share #14 Posted June 16, 2008 On a serious note, I love all the Boroughs because they are diverse, and each and every trip is different. Whether I see a drive I know, or am somwhere in the Bronx and have know idea where im going. Its the point that it's a bus for me. And nobody in the world has a better fleet of buses, trains, locomotives, bridges or tunnels imo. (NYCT)

MattTrain 3,120 Posted June 17, 2008 Share #18 Posted June 17, 2008 The best bus fan rides are the B68 via Coney Island Avenue B4 via Bay Ridge Avenue and B82, via Flatlands Avenue and Kings Highway. All of them are in Brooklyn. B68 as an alternative to ( and service, since it runs parallel to those lines. B4 as an alternative service to service, since it's parallel to Sea Beach line.
