Favorite subway stations

Recommended Posts

All right, we just had a "worst subway station" thread, let me hear your thoughts.

My favorite are, 34 St-Penn Station (7 Ave). Reason, cause it's a unique looking station, it's always busy & it's right near a busy railroad station.

51 St. Reason, It's one of the nicest stations & the transfer is just beautiful!

JK I'm going to hold of judgement until the completion of this huge teardown of the Bay Parkway (D) line station. From the looks of it, it's going to by my favorite station!

That was my thread. I knew someone would copy and do an opposite like those (2)(5) switch threads.

But whatever...

Roosevelt Island (F)

21-Queensbridge (F)

Roosevelt Island (F)

21-Queensbridge (F)

I like how the (F) rolls into 21 St smoothly & that station also looks nice.

Roosevelt Island, just looks plain unique!

Why do you like these stations?

I like Bowling Green also, it has an interesting design, nice & brick red.

I hope you dont mind me asking why you like these stations.

I like the tile work at Bowling Green, and 5 Ave has a cool looking ceiling. I also like Canal St becasue of the labyrinth nature of the station.

Well,

1) I lived on Roosevelt Island @ one point before moving to LI, so it's my 'home' station and I love the silver sleekness of the station.

And as you said, 21-Queensbridge just looks good.

I still gotta ride the (F) on the 63rd Street segment. every time im there the (F) is running via the (E) in that segment.
