Going to Philly on Fri the Nov. 25th with Elderly Friend

Recommended Posts

One Japanese guest, elderly woman was so happy, helping her with direction of museums for Boston and Washington, DC. Her name is Ikue.

She is also transit buff from Japan.

She also have list of museums she went around the world.

As her appreciation gift, she offered me to take me to Philly, so she bought us return trip on Bolt Bus from 30th St Station at 7:30pm and we had to be there by 7pm.

From home station, Junction, we're taking <7> Express train to Times Sq for either downtown IRT 7th Av line to Penn Station.

Then we plan to catch 8:52 Northeast Corridor NJT to Trenton, have breakfast, while we wait for SEPTA 10:45 train to Market East.

1. Visit Indepence National Park at Market St/5th-6th Sts for Liberty Bell Center, Underground Museum at Franklin Court. Spending maybe 30-45 minutes.

2. Visit Fireman Hall’s Museum at 2nd St/Quary St south of Race St. Spending 15-20 minutes maybe.

3. Visit Philadelphia Museum of Art and Pereman Building, Spending about 1-hour.

4. Take #15 Trolley to Girald St.

5. Take Broad St Subway to City Hall, stop by at Santa's Xmas village.

Any suggestion?

Is any places to eat dinner near or inside 30th St Station?

Thank you for your help.
