Roadcruiser1 Posted November 24, 2011 Share #3 Posted November 24, 2011 The UN can go screw themselves. They barely prevent wars, and the creation of the UN was a waste of time from the beginning.
QM1to6Ave Posted November 24, 2011 Share #4 Posted November 24, 2011 It took them 6 years to essentially just say the Taylor law is illegal. Wow. I guess putting 100 idiots in a room just makes 1 giant group of idiots

TriboroughBridge Posted November 24, 2011 Share #7 Posted November 24, 2011 '05 transit strike OK: UN agency - New York Daily NewsIf this is true does this mean that a strike is more likely to happen? My brothers go to school on a school bus provided by the city & we just got a notice that they may go on strike:tdown: The UN can go screw themselves. They barely prevent wars, and the creation of the UN was a waste of time from the beginning. Barely prevent a war? They barely make peace. Israel, is & always has been treated like crap when it came to the UN. Benjamin Netanyahu (Israeli Prime minister) said it perfectly, "the UN is one big joke". Shortline Bus Posted November 24, 2011 Share #8 Posted November 24, 2011 To those of you who want the UN canned what do you propose as a replacement for handling 'disputes' between countries of the world? Yes the UN is corrupt but unless the critics can come up with a replacement it's the best option IMO settle disputes IMO. Back to topic. While defending the UN to a point, IMO they should had shut up and stayed out of a labor issue involving New Yorkers and Americans. And on a personal level. How intresting that I have a Final Term paper report dealing with the '3' previous NYC transit strikes lol.
