Q101 E Midtown Posted December 4, 2011 Share #1 Posted December 4, 2011 My plan was to take the 11A to Nanuet for the ShortLine bus to Queens Village. I board #8497 at around 1:15pm on the 11A Spring Valley branch. Remembering that it took about 13 minutes between Emerson and Westwood Railroad Station versus the few it would otherwise take, I realized that the driver was going to switch with another driver at the Rockland Coaches garage. However, I was late, so I decided to head back to the city. I got off at Nanuet Mall where I saw TOR #236 getting ready to do a Monsey Loop #1 trip and after some hot dog nuggets and a chicken sandwich at Nathan's, I navigate my way back out and caught the same bus with the same driver from the garage doing a 11C trip to GWB. For $3.90 I was able to travel from Nanuet Mall down to Queen Anne Road and West Englewood Avenue, where a 167Q came up just a minutes later, and I got a sweet ride out to Union City Next, I caught NABI #5884 on an 84P to Journal Square where I took the PATH train to 14 St to meet up with my friends.
