No idea. Maybe you can take a field trip there, just like you did on the Broadway line, and let us know!

No since the train lines up in the station in a way they they can use the normal 10-car C/R board. Now with the R42s, they have their own red/yellow C/R board
mtattrain Posted December 7, 2011 Share #7 Posted December 7, 2011 why are there R160 8-Car markers and C/R boards along the Broadway line? One line could get shorted down to 8 cars, like the train.
TwoTimer Posted December 7, 2011 Share #8 Posted December 7, 2011 One of the funny aspects is that not all the express stations in the 8Av IND (of course 6Av has them as there are currently 8 car trains running there) have 8 car markers for the occasional reroute of the up the express tracks. 14th doesn't have any (its covered up, rule says stop at the [10] but then the C/R is off the board), and nothing above 168 has any either (covered up again), even though its easily theoretically possible to have a rerouted up to 207 for service. Now I do know why (doesn't take rocket science to figure out), but still
