oh ok, thanks, but in a related case did the (MTA) put 8 car markers/C/R boards at DeKalb Av, Atlantic Av, 7th Av and Prospect Park for Future J shuttles or re-routes?

im pretty sure they have em there for a while back when a lot of the BMT southern division was still using 8 car trains before they went to 10 cars in the late 80s

No since the train lines up in the station in a way they they can use the normal 10-car C/R board.

Now with the R42s, they have their own red/yellow C/R board

One of the funny aspects is that not all the express stations in the 8Av IND (of course 6Av has them as there are currently 8 car trains running there) have 8 car markers for the occasional reroute of the (C) up the express tracks. 14th doesn't have any (its covered up, rule says stop at the [10] but then the C/R is off the board), and nothing above 168 has any either (covered up again), even though its easily theoretically possible to have a (C) rerouted up to 207 for service.

Now I do know why (doesn't take rocket science to figure out), but still
