Oyster Bay Electrification

As of Now, the Oyster Bay Branch is only electrified to East Williston, its first stop. Should it be electrified all the way? If that happened, would The line's diesels go to lines like Greenport to Increase service? What do you think?

its unnecessary, the diesels on there are perfectly fine.

The reason its electrified to east williston was back in the day before the line was electrified east of mineola, they added it up the oyster bay branch to give a place for electric trains to lay up and switch sides without tieing up the main line.

Oyster Bay ridership is anemic compared to the Montauk Branch, even. Electrification money is better put toward Port Jeff or Patchogue.

true but then again its bihourly and the only form of public transit in oyster bay no buses there whatsoever not that I care. Buses shouldn't even go there outside rush hour at least.
