NYCtrainfan01 Posted January 7, 2012 Share #26 Posted January 7, 2012 BTW, how are you folks liking the new fleet-type separation at each depot? I really like it. It's a pretty good improvement in my opinion. Thanks Trevor!

Future ENY OP Posted January 8, 2012 Share #29 Posted January 8, 2012 Wow, the new C40s didn't bump any buses out of JG, awesome! Give it next order.. They are due additional 171 buses. That will be right after West Farms receives theirs.

DanTheTransitMan Posted January 10, 2012 Share #31 Posted January 10, 2012 Just a little correction the LFSA's are still being used for training drivers, they are not in passenger service.
The Real Posted January 11, 2012 Author Share #32 Posted January 11, 2012 Just a little correction the LFSA's are still being used for training drivers, they are not in passenger service. Let me correct you, all LFSAs on the roster 1200s, 5700s and 5800s have seen service.

S78 via Hylan Posted January 11, 2012 Share #35 Posted January 11, 2012 I saw 5817 doing driver training at Quill a few days ago. 5817 is the newest LFSA to arrive at the depot. Even though Quill already has artics, they still have to do driver training most likely because they are new and/or train operators who have not been trained for artics yet. I could be wrong though. The Real Posted January 11, 2012 Author Share #36 Posted January 11, 2012 Yes, training is done but it does end at a certain time, usually right before the peak period. But one of the buses has seen X-piece service over the last day. Start watching the Artic lines during the rush hours.

The Real Posted January 11, 2012 Author Share #38 Posted January 11, 2012 1232 is definitely still here @ 126...nice vintage MCH avatar by the way TLJ... Thanks. 1232 is a loaner. The Database still shows it as a Gun Hill Bus. There is a few loaners in the system. Rather than keep bouncing them back and forth on the roster, I keep them where they are at. DanTheTransitMan Posted January 13, 2012 Share #41 Posted January 13, 2012 So I was right, interesting. I like the 6400s though, hope MHV keeps most of theirs. To my knowledge that is the only 64xx that MHV sent over.
