Gorgor Posted February 20, 2012 Share #256 Posted February 20, 2012 I'll go. I used to run between a residential neighborhood and a business district. Even though I was a local route it wasn't uncommon to see an occasional express bus with the suburban seating doing a run.

Q101 E Midtown Posted February 20, 2012 Share #259 Posted February 20, 2012 I'm a very old route. In fact, I shared my number with an existing route with a different prefix) that crosses the same river as I do. Of course, when the MTA take over my route, they had to change my number, and then my prefix. Who am I?

Q101 E Midtown Posted February 21, 2012 Share #263 Posted February 21, 2012 The BM5 isn't old enough. Hint: the route in question was never under one of the seven PBLs.

Of course, when the MTA take over my route, they had to change my number, and then my prefix. Who am I? The answer was the (Q32). It's a very old route (never ran under one of the seven PBLs) It was called the 15(and crosses the East River with the QM15). The MTA renamed it the M32 and then the Q32. BM5 via Woodhaven Posted February 22, 2012 Author Share #267 Posted February 22, 2012 Even though I have a prefix, I operate more in the other borough that I operate. I operate as a connector from a hub to another hub.

Mysterious2train Posted February 26, 2012 Share #269 Posted February 26, 2012 I'm a pretty odd route currently out of the big bus depot in the sky. My father route is busier than ever, and its Limited service was created to replace me. Although, there's a fairly recent rail service that also replaces me pretty well.
