V CNGs,1000s going to bus heaven & some oddities 1/17/12

Recommended Posts

Great shots and catches! Some of those buses still have plates so they might not be scrapped just yet btw.

Also, just looking at 8750, the A/C cover on that is from a TMC RTS, I guess Nova never changed that in the build process.

I heard that 8750 had a Nova RTS back and when Eastchester repainted it, it got a TMC Back....not 100% on that however

GREATNESS!!! thats strange I saw 9015 like 2 or 3 days ago.

Those 1996 RTS are gone out of Queens Village!

Nice shots , what buses from ulmer park were there? if you can remember . . .

I didn't see any UP new arrivals at Eastchester, since they went to JFK & LGA.

Nice pic of 1816.

Also, its interesting to see that the buses loaned to Long Island just a few weeks ago are now scrapped at Eastchester.

And why does 4648 have a white front? Accident?

What a NICE ending to this thread! Very good stuff overall, as for the scrapped buses, they have done their job for all these years.

Yup, it is a site to see. 4648. either they never painted on the blue front or it got into an accident.

Excellent pics!!!! Which RTS was that on the Q-6?
