BZGuy Posted February 22, 2012 Share #53 Posted February 22, 2012 353 from Fairview? The 353 is just a special event route, I don't really count that as a real route. No this route runs 5 days a week at peak times

FlashThunder Posted February 22, 2012 Share #56 Posted February 22, 2012 Since the previous one was easy, I'll make this one easy as well. I am interstate route from NYC into northern Bergen county. During the rush hours, buses from different garage are used to handle the crowd. I have two different versions of express trips and one of my bus stop was relocated due to high volumes of ridership. who am I? oh and i also run via blvd east. this should make things easy. This is a secret giveway

ML111 Posted February 23, 2012 Share #61 Posted February 23, 2012 Correct! You're up. Btw, if you highlight my post, you'll see a secret Nice hint - very sneaky So here's one for you...I am a NJT route that operates interstate into Middlesex County. I parallel a variant of a private carrier service and operate only on weekdays. One of my variants loops around one of the towns I serve and hits a major highway. Who am I? ML111 Posted February 23, 2012 Share #63 Posted February 23, 2012 131? Not quite, but I understand why you said that. Here's one further hint: the private carrier route I parallel was once a NJT-operated service that was discontinued. That should say everything. Q101 E Midtown Posted February 23, 2012 Author Share #66 Posted February 23, 2012 Yes sir, the 138 it is - it's all yours. Whee! Ok... I'm a very old route in my city, but like several other routes, I changed colors recently, which meant better service and *gasp* a schedule. I'm a private line and connect to all but one other private line in my county. Who am I and what's the one private route I don't connect to? Q101 E Midtown Posted February 23, 2012 Author Share #68 Posted February 23, 2012 The 119 and you do not connect to the Broadway IBOA bus in Bayonne. It's not private, or rather private owned anymore and it had a schedule prior to coming under NJ Transit.
ML111 Posted February 23, 2012 Share #69 Posted February 23, 2012 Alright, so how about the Bergen Avenue Local now operated by A&C. (Didn't see the part about "private" earlier).

BZGuy Posted March 12, 2012 Share #75 Posted March 12, 2012 Well since nobody has posted any new questions I'll throw one out there. I am a route operated by a private carrier. I start at the PABT and end at a NJT rail station. My company has leased buses from NJT but does not use them on my route. Alot of my trips continue on further than my official end point for my private carrier. What route am I? (I'm looking for route number and name!)
