Stations that should be cleaned

I just gotta throw this out there.

 

Why not an adopt a station program? You know, like the adopt a highway program they have. A corporation or large building in the area of the station can adopt it and see to it that it is kept clean.

 

Of course it wouldn't hurt if they stopped people from eating and drinking on the subways and issued more fines for littering.

It's funny you said that,in fact they do have a program.It's called the "pilot" program where 1 cleaner stays at a station ALL day(8hrs.) 24 hrs.a day! They have it on the(L) line,some stations on the(6)(midtown only)and the entire line(thank GOD) most cleaners don't like it because supervision don't wan't to see a piece of lint on the floor!The station has to be SPOTLESS!!
