2008 Subway Map Stillwell change

The 2008 map shows the Sea Beach entering the Stillwell Avenue station from the north side like it should instead of the old way giving the impression that it enters from the southeast side like the Culver and Brighton.

 

Is this something new for 2008? I never noticed this on the 2007 map.

Yeah, it is fairly recent, I think they first did that late 2007 IIRC. If not, definately early 2008 because I see that in the map I have now from this year.

Harry, the map is not to scale and not all geographic layouts are correct. I wish they were but they aren't. Good point there, though.

Of course it's obvious they're not geographically correct. I'm talking about the general direction that the Sea Beach maps into Stillwell. I just found my 2007 subway map and it is the same as 2008. I never noticed this.
