RailBus63 Posted January 5, 2013 Share #327 Posted January 5, 2013 Nice is getting demos? I thought CENTRO up in Syracuse got these demos? Or are these diff demos? Demos from this order? Or just general demos like syracuse got? Centro got Orion VII CNG demos PT-6 and PT-8.
jgood6195 Posted January 5, 2013 Share #328 Posted January 5, 2013 PT-6 and PT-8? I thought the MTA's were #570-573?
RailBus63 Posted January 5, 2013 Share #329 Posted January 5, 2013 PT-6 and PT-8 were Orion demonstrator buses, not the MTA pilots. It seemed that Centro was considering the MTA buses but I don't know what came of it.
Burrstone Posted January 5, 2013 Share #330 Posted January 5, 2013 37 units down, 7 or 8 more to go. Judging by the fact that I saw 1877 in nice's lot well over a month a go all of these buses have been delivered a long time ago, probably a week or two after I saw 1877. The news reports production shut down at least two weeks ago and all the assembly workers have been laid off. http://www.wktv.com/news/local/Source-Assembly-line-at-Orion-Bus-in-Oriskany-officially-closed-184334881.html ALL THE BUSES ARE HERE, NO MORE ARE COMING ORION HAS CLOSED 2 WEEKS AGO! User Posted January 5, 2013 Share #331 Posted January 5, 2013 All of NICE's buses have been delivered including 1808. And yes, Orion has shut down its production plant. PT-6 and PT-8? I thought the MTA's were #570-573? Bahahahahahaha

jgood6195 Posted January 30, 2013 Share #341 Posted January 30, 2013 Just cause I know some of you are going to ask for proof, here's 1884: Delivery of the NICE Orion VII 3G CNGs is completed (or has been for weeks)! Proof is just all there! Now where the hell is 1808? Still at GA......
jgood6195 Posted January 30, 2013 Share #342 Posted January 30, 2013 I still doubt that. Sometimes these buses could be out of service for years before they eventually return.

First of all, where the hell are you getting any information. The last thing we saw on this forum was that someone reported that the bus left Grand Avenue and went somewhere. Do you work for the ? Do you work for NICE? Do you work as a contracted driver? If you answered no to all three of those, don't bother responding to this post.

That bus was playing dead for a couple years before returing a few weeks ago.
mtattrain Posted January 30, 2013 Share #345 Posted January 30, 2013 AAAAAAAANYWAY... Nice to hear that all the Orion 7 CNGs have been delivered and finally put into service. We should now consider closing this thread (unless there are other things to talk about).
