1 year later after 1816....

nicerepaint20130101.png

Total 1700s: 100

Painted 1700s: 15

Wrapped 1700s: 23 (including 1732)

White 1700s: 62

Total (old) 1800s: 39

Wrapped 1800s: 37

White 1800s: 2 (including 1808)

64 buses to get colors by June. That's a 2.8 days a bus, or 2.1 if they're going to repaint all the wrapped 1700s too.

They could do what's left of the Orion V CNGs afterwards.

OMG, for the last time, the Vs are not getting wrapped nor painted because they're already in Nassau County colors AND NICE certainly doesn't have the money to do more than they need to.

As seen in PinePower's vlog: 1753 became a whiteback. I rode that bus properly wrapped, so does anyone know what happened? Accident?

The wrap on the back was probably peeling off, so NICE just pulled the entire back wrap off. While they were at it, they should have just pulled all the wrap off of 1753 and painted it.

I saw 1833 last week or this week and It's still not wrapped.

1760?
That's what I thought, too.

The weird thing is I never ride the '09 NGs with the LED lighting inside (1760-1799), but every week a newly painted one will pop up on near a route I ride. The least NICE could do is remove the remains of the Sleepy's ad on the front.

Word.. those SLEEPY'S ads are quite old and annoying. <_<

There are a few other Orion V CNGs with an all white from. The MTA had wanted to whiteback the Orion V CNGs before the changeover. It's mostly the '04 CNGs with this though.

That's what I was trying to say. The (MTA) was trying to make the the front and back of the Orion 5s white for the attempted new (MTA) bus livery. Which by the way the 1800s were the first everf to have this theme.

No, I believe 1760 got into an accident during the beginning of NICE. You can see this video, 1760, last day of LIB, still has the stripe:

http://

Yes, they need to take the Sleepy's ads off. Maybe with half the ad on there, they get half the revenue ;)

Something is seriously wrong with the quoting feature. NICE isn't getting that much ad revenue as it is. A lot of the buses just have NICE service announcements and old (MTA) BusTalk ads.
