Question about old shuttle routes

The N53 used paratransit buses. Not sure about the N52. The others used regular buses.

I didn't know that. The N52 seems like it would be an empty route anyway considering the low ridership on the N51.

The N53 used vans because buses couldn't negotiate the route, not because of its really low ridership

That's why the only pictures of the N53 are paratrasit buses.

(STUPID QUESTION(S) ALERT)

Did it say "Merrick Shuttle in the window and have signs for stops? Because if it did they're gone.

Also, in terms of shuttles, a driver told me that way back in the day para transit used to do shuttles from the airports for flight crews. If I remember correctly they even had a regular shuttle from jfk or lga to roosevelt field mall.

N91 bus from JFK to Hempstead. AKA "The Flyer"
