VWM Posted March 8, 2012 Share #1 Posted March 8, 2012 I dunno, I just think that SBS needs some better color variety. I don't like every SBS the same dark blue.
NX Express Posted March 8, 2012 Share #2 Posted March 8, 2012 I guess it's part of the consistency the MTA is trying to maintain. It's easy, anyway - there are only a few SBS routes.
Acela Express Posted March 9, 2012 Share #3 Posted March 9, 2012 So you're saying you want every "SBS bus" to be colorful when it comes to your stop?:tdown: C'mon son...
Gorgor Posted March 10, 2012 Share #4 Posted March 10, 2012 I dunno, I just think that SBS needs some better color variety. I don't like every SBS the same dark blue. I completely agree with you. Even though it would cost so much extra money that could be spent on overall improvements in general, we should totally spend it on something that nobody cares about. Same should go for the subway. I'd definitely prefer a train with magenta, indigo, and burgundy colored cars rolling in rather than that bland silver we have now.
Blitz Posted March 10, 2012 Share #5 Posted March 10, 2012 This seems like the kind of thread that should have been posted in the random thoughts section...
mark1447 Posted March 11, 2012 Share #6 Posted March 11, 2012 Its just a color. As long as you can ID it, thats fine. Plus you can tell if its an +SBS by the light blinking. The real BRT style i love the most is the CDTA Bus Plus (Gillig BRT) style: The only thing I dislike is the blue strip, some other scheme would be nice. B17EastNewYorkDepot Posted March 11, 2012 Share #7 Posted March 11, 2012 really? i think this is the last thing the mta needs to talk about.
Guest lance25 Posted March 11, 2012 Share #8 Posted March 11, 2012 Yeah, I don't see them tasting the rainbow anytime soon. Sorry, but it's much cheaper to have one design than it is to have several. Deal with it. Watch out for the closing thread.
