N6 Limited Posted April 8, 2012 Share #5 Posted April 8, 2012 Great Catch. Where the buses stopping in their new spots today? Where were the N78 and N79 stopping? They still didn't change N24 sign to Hicksville They did, if you look closely under the "n24" sticker, it says Hicksville. I think the change of bays at Roosevelt Field are good. The N45 and N51 were banished to the last bay, I'm sure that didn't help ridership, when those going to NCC/ Nassau Coliseum, Hempstead Turnpike, etc could have used them. Amtrak7 Posted April 8, 2012 Share #6 Posted April 8, 2012 Great Catch. Where the buses stopping in their new spots today? Where were the N78 and N79 stopping? I heard a message over the radio that dispatchers were custom-directing for today only. Did the N2/N8 stops that you saw look like these?
User Posted April 8, 2012 Share #7 Posted April 8, 2012 The new signs at RF look much neater than the MTA signs. I think the numbers were slipping off on the old signs.
N6 Limited Posted April 9, 2012 Share #8 Posted April 9, 2012 I heard a message over the radio that dispatchers were custom-directing for today only. Did the N2/N8 stops that you saw look like these? Naw they looked more like the LIB signs in a way. The new signs at RF look much neater than the MTA signs. I think the numbers were slipping off on the old signs. They certainly do look much better
