Service Change

There is no (7) train service between 34 St-Hudson Yards and Hunter Point Av in both directions.

Some 34 St bound (7) trains end at Hunters Point Av or Queensboro Plaza.

These service changes are because of a train with mechanical problems at Grand Central-42 St.

Expect delays in both directions.

As an alternative, for service between Manhattan and Queens, take the (E)(F)(N) or (R) train.

From 34 St-Hudson Yards, customers can use the M34 bus to 34 St-Penn station for the (A)(C)  or (E) train.

Our crews are on scene trying to fix it ASAP and we'll follow up soon. Stay tuned for updates.

I think we should start a drinking game where we take shots every time a service change happens, what do you think?

Some southbound (2) trains will end at 149 St-Grand Concourse.

There is no (3) train service between Harlem-148 St and 96 St in both directions.

This service change is because of a train with mechanical problems at 125 St.

Travel Alternative: For service between Harlem-148 St and Central Park North-110 use M2, M7 and Bx19 bus making nearby stops.

Unless you really hate your liver, I would not recommend this course of action. You'll be dead before the end of the day.

Northbound  (A) trains are running express from Aqueduct-North Conduit to 80 St because of signal problems at Rockaway Blvd.

This is a new one.

No its not. There's been G.Os in the past where (A) Trains ran express to 80th Street as well as incidents.

What would be more rare is going express Lefferts to Rock'Blvd. Or utilizing the middle track on the (1). Don't know how often service runs those track.

What?  They can't have the (E) or (R) go to Queens Plaza (or at least some trains on each)?

They are working on the express tracks ij both directions between 36 st and Roosevelt Ave. Not sure if that includes the small stretch between 36 st and Queens Plaza, but that is a possibility.

Another one...

Some southbound (A) trains are running local from Hoyt-Schermerhorn to Euclid Av.

Expect delays on (A) , (C) and (D) trains.

This service change is because of a train with mechanical problems at 145 St.

Our crews are on scene working to fix it ASAP and we'll keep you posted.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Could this be a (C) train which had mechanical problems which caused this?

Southbound (4) and (6) trains are running express from 14 St-Union Square to Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall because of gap filler maintenance at 14 St-Union Square.

Interesting, when the trains are suppose to run local in both directions at this time back of track maintenance.

There's (R) trains on 6th Avenue, so there's a chance those might be going to 145th, or even The Bronx.

The official cause was a coned voltage drop to the signals at 71 Ave, and initially it was a bidirectional signal problem... though the timing is fishy.

On subway time, the (E) s that were sent to 168 were labelled as (C) to Jamaica Center at 125th, and (R) s to 96th st were labelled as (Q) to Forest Hills. Odd.

Subway time Dosent know that (E) can go to 168 so they just call it (C) to Jamaica Center.Same with (Q) to Forest Hills.also 2weeks ago the (B) ,s to 96 were labeled (Q) To whatever that (B),s  original destination should have been (145 or BPB).Southbound they were labeled (Q) Brighton Beach.
