There is no (N) shuttle train service in both directions because of signal problems between Middle Village-Metropolitan Av and Myrtle-Wyckoff Avs.

Because it ain't Wednesday without some type of service change right?

Woops I meant (M) not (N), finger slip.

There is no (4) and (5) train service between Atlantic Av-Barclay Ctr and Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall in both directions.

(5) trains are running along the (2) line between Nevins St and 149 St-Grand Concourse in both directions.

These service changes are because of FDNY activity at Borough Hall.

Expect delays in (2) , (3), (4) and (5) train service.

My work is 150 feet away from the Wall St 4 & 5 station and 900 get away from the Fulton St 4 & 5 station. I used to wake the A train from Far Rockaway - Mott Av to Fulton St and how the 4 of 5 train 1 stop to Wall St. Just yesterday, I realized that it's quicker to just walk to Fulton St going back home because of the underpass and the northbound station being around 100 feet further that the southbound station. It's interesting timing that no trains are running at either Wall St or Fulton St. All I did was walk the whole northbound platform of the 4 & 5 Fulton St train to the A & C passageway right to the A train.

Northbound (3) trains are stopping along the (1) line from 96 St and end 137 St-City College because of switch problems at Harlem-148 St.

From the looks of waiting time on platforms and subway time, it looks like (3) service has been temporarily suspended.

There is no (4) and (5) train service between 149 St-Grand Concourse and 86 St in both directions.

Some southbound (5) trains are stopping along the (2) line from 149 St-Grand Concourse to South Ferry because of FDNY activity at 125 St.

Expect delays in (2), (4) and (5) train service.

For service between 125 St and 86 St customers can use the (6) train.

Did any trains actually get rerouted to 137th?

Nope. From the looks of it, (3) trains were held at stations, while the (2) ran local south of Times Square. First time I've ever seen a 50 minute wait for a train displayed on the countdown clocks.

The (2) has been running local south of 42nd Street all day on weekends since June and that will last until I think July or so.

Why don't they just send both the (2) and the (3) down to South Ferry on weekends until the construction is finished?

The (2) already goes down to South Ferry, and serves most (3) stops except 145 Street and 148 Street. Additionally, you cannot have the (1) , (2) , and (3) turn at South Ferry simultaneously without causing unecessary delays.

Why could they not send the (2) to Brooklyn via South Ferry (go via loop to Bowling Green then change ends)?

That works in the middle of the night when such a service only interacts with the (4). On the weekends, with increased frequencies across the board and the (5) trains running, that would be a merging nightmare, even under optimal conditions.

There is no (E) (F)(M) and (R) train service between Manhattan and Roosevelt Av.

Some northbound (E) trains are running along the (C) line from 42 St-Port Authority Bus Terminal and 168 St.

There is no (F) train service between 21 St-Queensbridge and Jackson Hts-Roosevelt Av in both directions.

There is no (M) train service between Essex St and Forest Hills-71 Av in both directions.

Some Forest Hills bound (M) trains are running along the (B) line from 42 St-Bryant Park to 145 St.

(R) trains are running along the (N) line between Lexington Av-59 St and Astoria-Ditmars Blvd in both directions.

These service changes are because of temporary loss of power at Queens Plaza.

Expect delays in (A)(B)(C)(D)(E)(F)(J)(M)(N)(R) and (W) trains in both directions.

edit: Service resumed right when I posted this.

Talk about unfortunate circumstances. Looks like they might need to extend those shuttle buses.
