There are delays and service changes in both directions between Manhattan and Queens because of signal problems at 47-50 Sts-Rockefeller Ctr and Woodhaven Blvd.

There is no (M)  train service between Forest Hills-71 Av and Essex St-Delancey St in both directions.

Some southbound (E)   trains are running local from Forest Hills-71 Av to Queens Plaza.

Some southbound (F)  trains are running local from Forest Hills-71 Av to 21 St-Queenbridge.

Expect delays in (E) , (F) and (R) train service.

I got stuck in this. My train was crushloaded. Luckily, I got a good seat at Kew Gardens.

Due to a stalled (6) at Bleecker Street, Bronx bound (6) and <6> ran express to 125 St. For alternate service to stations between Brooklyn Bridge and 125 St, Extra (4) trains were used to go local and (6) to stations from 125 St.

Again, we have a thread for this. Unless this was an actual situation (which is usually quoted from the MTA sites), this belongs there.

EDIT: I quoted this post over in the What If? thread.

Service Change

Northbound (6) trains are running express from Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall to 14 St-Union Square because someone was struck by a train at Canal St.

For service to/from bypassed stations, take a southbound (6) train.

Also:

There are multiple delayed readings along the QBL. There were a lot of police officers at Roosevelt Avenue earlier. From what it looks like, there may or mat not be a cat on the tracks. Stay tuned.

UPDATE 11:30 PM

Turns it, there was a cat on the tracks. There's absolutely no local service on QBL at this time between Jackson Heights and Forest Hills...

Service Change

Northbound (R) trains are running express from Jackson Hts-Roosevelt Av to Forest Hills-71 Av because of a cat on the tracks at Forest Hills-71 Av.

Expect delays on (E)(F) and (R) train service.

Service Change  Posted: 11/12/2018  6:04AM

There is no (E) train service in both directions between Forest Hills-71 Av and Jamaica Center-Parsons/Archer.

There is no (F) train service in both directions between Forest Hills-71 Av and Jamaica-179 St.

These service changes are because of switch problems at Briarwood.

For service between Forest Hills-71 Av and Parsons/Archer, take the Q54 and Q60 bus service making nearby stops.

For service between Forest Hills-71 Av and Jamaica-179 St, take the Q43 and Q60 bus service making nearby stops.

I really hope this clears up.

Due to a very rainy storm that caused flooding in between 149 Street and 161 Street on the (4) , (4) train service was suspended between Burnside Avenue and 149 St- GC. The same problem occurred on the (2) and (5) between 3rd Av- and Jackson Av. (5) trains ran as shuttles from E 180 St to Dyre Av. While (2) trains ran from 241 to E 180 Street. (5) trains ran to 149 St- GC via the (4) platform. Also, (2) trains terminated at 148 Street or 96 Street.
