There are delays and service changes in (2) and (5) train service because of a signal problem at President St.

Some southbound (2) trains will end at Chambers St.

Some southbound (5) trains will end at Bowling Green or run on the (4) line past Franklin Av.

Our crews are on the scene working to restore regular service as soon as possible.

(5) train service will be limited through the rush hour because crews are working to correct ongoing signal problems at President St

Some southbound (5) trains will end at Bowling Green. There will be no (5) train service between Franklin Av and Flatbush Av-Brooklyn College. For service to/from stations between President St and Flatbush Av-Brooklyn College, use (2) train service.

You can expect heavy congestion along the (2) and (4) lines. Consider alternate routes such as the  (B) , (D) , (N) , (Q) or (R) lines, or the B44 bus making station stops between President St and Flatbush Av-Brooklyn College

There are delays in 7 train service in both directions this morning because of train connectivity issues.

Please allow additional travel time, or consider taking an E, M, F, R, or N train if you can. We're working to resolve these issues as quickly as possible and appreciate your patience.

This may evolve, because the whole 6th Avenue board northbound has 'Delayed' readings. Scrolling through some of the MTA twitter posts, and it appears that there is a track fire.

Delays  Posted: 12/18/2018 10:58PM

Northbound (B)(D) and (F) trains are delayed because of FDNY activity at Broadway-Lafayette St

Unconfirmed:

Some NB (D) trains may be heading via Montague to some location. The reason is that (N) and (R) are being delayed at Atlantic while (D) trains are up ahead at DeKalb (both of them are going via the Tunnel at this time). Not too sure though.

Good thing I decided to take the (7) .

There are service changes and delays because someone requires medical assistance at 36 St.

Some northbound (E) and (F) trains will end at Court Square-23 St.

Some northbound (R) trains are stopping along the (Q) line from 57 St-7 Av and ending at 96 St.

For service between Queens and Manhattan, consider taking (N) or (7) train service.

Southbound (2) and (5) trains have delays and service changes because of signal problems at Flatbush Av-Brooklyn College.

Some southbound (2) trains will end at Chambers St or New Lots Av on the (3) line.

Some southbound (5) trains will end at Bowling Green or Utica Av-Crown Heights on the (4) line.

As an alternative, customers can use the B41 or B44 buses making nearby station stops.

Southbound (1) and (2) trains are making express stops from 34 St-Penn Station to Chambers St because someone was fatally struck by a train at 23 St. Emergency crews are on scene.

For service to bypassed stations, consider transferring to a northbound (1) or (2) train at 14 St or Chambers St, using nearby (A) train stations, or using nearby M20 bus service on 7th Av.

Expect delays in (1) and (2) trains in both directions.

Both directions, (F) trains are going via the (G) . No word on the MTA site as to why.

Only some are, I think. They ragequit trying to manage 30tph on 6th so they're killing the (E) 179 trips and sending some (F)s via Crosstown this eve.

Where on 6th Ave is the chokepoint that is limiting capacity? Especially during a lighter ridership week

West 4th Street. Earlier, there were delays at West 4th, likely from the merging. There were 'Delayed' readings on the countdown clocks. That area also can be prone to delays for signal issues and whatnot.

There is no (7) and <7> train service between 74 St-Broadway and Flushing-Main St in both directions after a temporary loss of power between Flushing-Main St and Mets-Willets Point

The Q53 bus I was on was pulled out of service at 74th, and went into service as a shuttle bus.
