Due to a train with mechanical problems at the West Farms Square- E Tremont Avenue Station;

Uptown and train service running local from the 3 Avenue- 149 Street Station to the E 180 Street Station.

Downtown and train service running local from E 180 Street Station to 3 Avenue- 149 Street Station.

No train service in both directions between the Morris Park Station to the Eastchester Dyre Avenue Station.

For alternate service utilize the Bx39 and BxM11, which will make corresponding stops from the Pelham Parkway Station to the Eastchester Dyre Avenue Station.

Please expect delays on the and train service at this time.

I had a premonition this morning that trains would run express to Manhattan. Well… at 7:15-ish AM, my train went BIE as it was pulling into 71 Street. Following trains went express, mocking the stranded passengers who had to run a marathon to 62 Street or New Utrecht Avenue for the or .

Everything seemed fine a few minutes ago going into manhattan today

Does anyone know what was going on this morning on the ??? The MTA website had a status of "Good Service" but when I got to DeKalb (Manhattan bound side), one showed up on the express track then the next ran on the line. The platform was about 2 deep and the trains were really crowded.

I was just listening to the radio and there is a report of a smoke condition at Bowery and that M, J and Z trains are not running between Broad Street and Marcy Avenue. I checked the Mtainfo and they said the same thing with the exception of listing the Z train.

 

I have one question since when does the M still run to Broad Street and what is happening to the M service on the 6th Avenue Line with service to Forest Hills. Don't the persons providing this information ever look at current maps or is this another occurance (which has unfortunately become commonplace) where the information is wrong ?

 

The public is entitled to correct information and they are not getting it.
