R10 2952 Posted January 10, 2017 Share #4130 Posted January 10, 2017 It goes back way further than that- the has not seen R32s since about 1982. I'm about as opposite of a foamer as you can get, but an R32 on the has been like the holy grail since I was a kid. If that had been the West End Line, some people would probably be getting coronaries LOL... It's more about the type of car...R32 cant be used in OPTO cause u have to switch cars to open the doors on each side....R160's can open each side of doors from the same cab

That's not surprising given how messed up the subway was in the aftermath. With the extended lengths of the and , there was a serious need for additional cars. At 14 Street–Union Square, there was a dwelling there with doors opened. RestrictOnTheHanger Posted January 16, 2017 Share #4145 Posted January 16, 2017 The 53rd St tunnel has had signal problems all day today. Wonder if it is related to the weekend work or the FDNY activity this morning?

I believe that signal problem all day at 53rd Street was caused by the FDNY activity,

The only bus running in that general area is the M100 which starts its first southbound trip from Inwood at 4:10AM. I hope they at least ran a few bus shuttles or something for the first few hours of the morning.
