Service Change

Southbound (N) trains are stopping along the (D) line from 36 St (Bklyn) to Coney Island-Stillwell Av.

Southbound (R) trains are stopping along the (D) line from 36 St (Bklyn) and end at 9 Av.

These service changes are because of a passenger in need of medical assistance at 59 St (Bklyn).

Expect delays in (D), (N) and (R) train service.

>>Walks into Bedford Park Boulevard station (B) (D)

>>Misses (D) by mere seconds because none of the three vending machines will accept or read my debit card

>>Next one shows up 15 minutes later

>>Currently held at station (for goodness knows how much longer), due to power outage at 174th-175th Street station

How's your Saturday morning going, everyone?

It says debris on the track at 174-175th. But isnt that station closed for repairs?

Yup. Somebody probably dropped their donut — I mean plywood.

If anyone is on mobile, can you go to the new MTA site and tell me if you see the (B) having a planned work thing next to its name? It's been stuck like this since this morning.

It's fine on the desktop site.

RIP 4 Avenue

Service Change

(N) trains are stopping along the (Q) line in both directions between Coney Island-Stillwell Av and DeKalb Av

There is no (R) train service in either direction south of Whitehall St-South Ferry.

Northbound (D) trains are ending at 9 Av

These service changes are because of an NYPD investigation at Union St.

Customers may expect (D) , (N) , and (R) train delays in both directions.

UPDATE 9:13 PM:

I hope this doesn't mean all (R) service is suspended.

Service Change

There is no (R) train service and extremely limited (D) and (N) train service in Brooklyn because of an NYPD investigation at Union St.

Update: The cause of the service change was a 12-9:

This goat fiasco shows how badly the MTA handles service issues... it's like when they screwed over Brighton for a cat. It's one thing if an animal falls on the tracks underground, but in an open area like this, they should just leave the goats alone. No animal will get near the trains and will run off the ROW or will run to another track given how loud and large the trains are when they come through...  the PETA crowd are probably the only people who think a reroute should occur due to some random animal on the ROW...

Sometimes animals run right down the middle of a track and end up getting ran over. On the railroads Deer, Cows, etc get hit by trains all the time, if you ride commuter railroad you'll see dead Deer along side the ROW from time to time.

IMO the MTA did the right thing, a GOAT getting 12-9'd will delay service just as long.

I wonder when natural selection will kick in and cull all the deer that are dumb enough to walk around rails and highways.
