There's a situation that looks like might evolve into a service change at Prospect Park. Stay tuned:

Delays  Posted: 02/20/2019  5:33PM

(B)(D)(N) and (Q) trains are running with residual delays in both directions because of multiple trains having their brakes activated in Brooklyn. Service is also delayed because of winter storm conditions.

There are delays and service changes on (A) and (C) trains due to a signal problem at Hoyt-Schermerhorn.

The last stop on some southbound (A) and (C) trains will end at Jay St-MetroTech or World Trade Center.

Please see a station agent for a courtesy pass for continuing bus or train service.

For service between Broadway Junction and Jay St-MetroTech, please use the B25 Bus.

Expect delays in northbound (A) and (C) train service.

WTC-bound (E) and Coney Island-bound (F) trains are running on the local tracks from Jackson Hts-Roosevelt Av to 36 St (QNS) because a train's brakes were activated near 36 St on the express tracks.

Expect delays in  and  train service.

Based on Subway Time:

Some Jamaica-bound (E) traina are running local in Queens

The delays are so bad that SubwayTime data was pulled offline for the IRT (They’re embarrased)

“There is reduced southbound 4 and 5 train service while our crews work on a signal problem at Fulton St.

The last stop on some southbound 4trains will be 149 St-Grand Concourse.

Some southbound 5 trains are running on the 2 line from 149 St-Grand Concourse to Nevins St.

Expect delays in 2 3 4 and 5train service.”

What annoys the hell out of me is trying to use the subwaytime info during rush hour. Usually always down...

What’s funny was that the 7th Avenue and Lex data was down, but the (7) and the B division was up just fine.

Then the data magically came back online once the “signal problem resolved” alert went out.

Service Change  Posted: 02/25/2019  4:33PM

There are delays and service changes on the (B) and (Q) lines as a result of fallen tree limbs across the tracks south of Avenue M caused by today's high winds.

We have personnel working to remove the tree limbs, but at this time there is no southbound service along the (B) and (Q) lines south of Prospect Park;

There is limited southbound (B) and (Q) service between DeKalb Av and Prospect Park; Some Brighton Beach-bound (B) trains are operating over the (D) line from DeKalb Av to Coney Island-Stillwell Av and some Coney Island-Stillwell Av-bound (Q) trains are operating over the (N) line from Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr

Northbound (B) and (Q) service is running local between Brighton Beach and Prospect Park.

Expect delays in (B) , (D) , (N) , and (Q) service.

For service to/from bypassed stations, take northbound (B) or (Q) service.

As an alternative, see a station agent to receive a courtesy pass for continuing service.

Station-Specific Alternatives:

.    For service to/from Church Av, consider transferring between the nearby B35 bus and Coney Island-bound (F) service at Church Av and McDonald Av: http://bit.ly/2AhryMy
.    For service to/from all stations between Beverly Rd and Kings Hwy, consider taking the nearby B68 bus, operating on Coney Island Av. Here are directions: http://bit.ly/2OBqRRn

There are service changes and delays in northbound (N) , (R) and (W) train service because of signal problems at 5 Av/59 St.

Some northbound (R) trains are stopping along the (Q) line from 57 St-7 Av to Lexington Av-63 St then along the (F) line to 36 St (Qns).

Some northbound (W) trains are stopping along the (Q) line from 57 St-7 Av and are ending at 96 St.

Northbound (F) , (N) , (Q) , (R) and (W) trains are running with delays.

Service Change

There are delays and service changes in northbound (B) and (Q) train service because a train's brakes were automatically activated at Prospect Park.

Northbound (Q) trains are running on the (N) line between Coney Island Stillwell Av and DeKalb Av.

Northbound (B) trains are running on the (D) line between Coney Island Stillwell Av and DeKalb Av.

Expect delays in northbound (B)(D)(N) and (Q) service.

This would have been half tolerable if Culver Express service existed. Instead, today's commute consisted of a stuffed B82 Select, to a painfully slow northbound (F) that was already overcrowded at Kings Highway.

It was really bad this morning, not only for the Brighton Line, but for the 4th Avenue Line which had to deal with all the extra congestion, as well as Broadway, Astoria, and 6th Avenue.

Apparently, the police was called in to turn people away at Kings Highway:

Service has since resumed:

Delays

(B)(D)(N)(Q)(R)(W) train service has extensive delays in both directions after a train's brakes were activated at Prospect Park and we helped a sick customer at Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr.

Please allow additional travel time and consider alternate service options. We regret the inconvenience these service disruptions have caused.

There are signal problems at Prospect Park which are delaying (B) , (Q) , and  even the Franklin Avenue (S). Stay tuned to see if it evolves:

Our crews are working to fix the switch problem at this time.

Not Mentioned:

Some (B) and (D) trains are short-turning in Brooklyn and/or Manhattan (need confirmation if a few trains went up to 96th & 2nd).

Some SB (D) trains are running via the (F) from Broadway-Laffayette Street to Coney Island

I'd be interested to know the context here. You're generally not supposed to take bathroom breaks unless at your terminal.

You cannot be denied a comfort, if you gotta go then you gotta go. It happened to me on the 6 once at the BB loop, I knew that there was no way I’d be able to make it back to Parkchester holding it in (keep in mind on lines like the J and 6 you don’t get off the train at the end)  called it in and went at the bridge.

It’s pretty shady of them to post that to put the public against us, but I’ll leave it at that...

Reminds me of this:
