I thought they were on 2 different levels at 145th 🤨

Sorry folks, I had misread that as 125 Street for some reason. 7 days straight of work really drains the brain. 😐

There is no (L) train service between Broadway-Junction and Lorimer St as FDNY responds to a report of smoke at Myrtle-Wyckoff Avs.

Limited Manhattan-bound L train service is resuming between Canarsie-Rockaway Pkwy and 8 Av. Customers should expect delays as trains return to their normal schedule. Customers can also expect crowded stations so please allow extra time as you enter and leave the subway system.

Consider alternative routes for service to/from Manhattan.

Customers can transfer from the L to the A, C or J trains at Broadway Junction, M trains from Myrtle-Wyckoff Avs, or the 3 train at Junius St.

Limited shuttle bus service continues to run between Lorimer St and Broadway Junction.

As we move a train with mechanical problems to the storage facility, there's limited L service between Canarsie and Livonia. The last stop on some Canarsie-bound trains will be Broadway Junction or Livonia Av.

L service is resuming at other stations between Brooklyn and Manhattan.

Expect delays in both directions.

Trains are now moving in both directions along the L line after our teams made repairs to the third rail and moved disabled trains.

This is why they need to rebuild Atlantic Avenue as the infrastructure is actually there to do a rebuild of the parts that were demolished.  Would allow for greater flexibility and also short-turn trains there.

If the problem is at Myrtle Avenue, what good will that do?

Service Change  Posted: 05/20/2019  4:02PM

There are service changes and extensive delays because of network communications issues between 8 Av and 1 Av.

Maintainers are on the scene working to correct the problem, but until the issue is resolved, consider alternative travel options at this time.

Some 8 Av-bound L Subway trains are ending at Bedford Av or Myrtle-Wyckoff Avs.

L trains are operating at slower speeds in both directions in Manhattan.
