There is no northbound (E) train service between World Trade Center and W 4 St-Washington Sq. For northbound service from World Trade Center, consider transferring within the station to either the (2) and (3) lines or the (R) and (W) lines to continue your trip.

Some southbound (A) trains are running local from 59 St-Columbus Circle to W 4 St-Washington Sq and then on the (F) line to Jay St-MetroTech

.    There is no downtown (A) , (C) , or (E) service at Canal St on 6 Av. Consider taking nearby (J), (N) , (Q) , (R) , (W) , (Z) , or (6) lines at Canal St on Broadway for service downtown. Here are directions: http://bit.ly/2s8iWkn

.    There is no downtown (A) or (C) service at Chambers St or Fulton St. Consider transferring within the station to alternate lines, such as the (2) and (3) lines, for continuing service downtown and into Brooklyn.

.    There is no Brooklyn-bound (A) or (C) service at High St. Consider taking the nearby (F) line at York St, where (A) trains are being rerouted to Jay St-MetroTech. Here are directions: http://bit.ly/2GMFVXe

Isn't this the 3rd week in a row where the signal system has broken at Canal St?

There is no Manhattan-bound (A)(C) or (F) train service at this time while we work to correct a switch problem at Canal St and investigate a train that had its brakes activated at York St.

There is no (E) service between W 4 St-Wash Sq and World Trade Center. (E) trains are running on the (F) from W 4 St-Wash Sq to/from 2 Av.

We have identified the issue with the switch and are working to resume (A) and (C) train service ASAP.

We expect severe crowding, so please take another train if you can.

That would be a bottomless post.

I just did this for my bus ride home on Friday. Here's what it would look like:

Q65 left 1 minute late, B/O waited for customer running for the bus and missed the light losing an additional 45 seconds.
Lost 30 seconds for someone blocking the box while making a left turn onto 95th, lost 15 seconds same intersection due to Private car beyond the stop line couldn't turn onto 95th.
Double parked truck on 150th St forcing single lane traffic in both directions, no cars would yield...2 minutes.

Taxi/Uber stopped in and blocked the bus lane to load a single passenger, and bus missed the light. 2 minutes.

6.5 Minutes down and we haven't even gotten to the first stop...hmmm

Multiple cars attempting to make a left turn in front of the bus blocking the intersection, bus had to inch around multiple pedestrians in vehicles 90 seconds. Multiple customers searching for their metrocards when the bus arrived, slow boarding. Confused customer asking if this was the bus to Jamaica station (LIRR) after getting off the (E) train (???)

Multiple taxi/uber blocking the bus stop at Parsons/88th bus stopped in the middle of the street and customers forced to walk back to the bus. About 1 minute extra time.

Private driver ahead could not make a right turn in one light cycle because they suck. 1 minute.

And on and on and on.

Most of the bus problems are other drivers and the customers. Period.

I saw that the next (Q) was going to be leaving in 10 minutes, so I ran to the (N) platform. There was a (Q) train on track #2 leaving via Brighton. It also ran express. 🙂 I would have been late for my appointment otherwise.

The IRT has been a total disaster today, there were signal problems at 59th street earlier also, I wonder what the occasion was.

To start off;

1. Train broke down at Franklin Av, couldnt recharge.

2. Signal problem at 59th St.

3. Signal problem at Chruch Av + train with mechanical problem.

4. For some reason downtown 4 trains kept stopping and going between Moshulu Pkwy and Bedford Pk so I assume there was signal trouble as well.

I just saw this one on the MTA website

Due to a passenger needing assistance at Avenue H, southbound Q trains are running express from Prospect Park to  Kings Highway.

Please use northbound service to bypassed stations.

If you scroll  down further, Northbound Q trains are running express from Kings Highway to Prospect Park from 5:45 AM to 9 PM today.
