There is no (1) line service in either direction between Van Cortland Park-242 St and 145 St because someone was struck by a train south of Dyckman St.

Expect delays in both directions in  line service.

For service to/from stations north of 145 St see a station agent to receive a courtesy pass to continue your trip via the (A) line or nearby buses such as the Bx1Bx7, or Bx9 routes. See http://bt.mta.info/ for real-time bus information.

Not only is the (7) suffering from the typical, but it brought down the QBL along with it. Might as well swim across the river...

(1) train service is restored in both directions after a minor was struck by a train at Dyckman St.

Our thoughts are with the individual and his family.

Expect extensive delays as we work to get trains back on schedule.

I guess the moral of this is: Don't mess with Van Cortlandt!

But seriously, I hope the Van Cortlandt driver and conductor are doing well following this horrific tragedy that happened to them.

How is the (7) affected in this case? Also what's the point of swapping the (F) and (M) ?

Communications Based Train Control failed on the (7) train. As for swapping the (F) and (M) trains, for some reason, 63rd Street wasn't showing up for the (F) train feeds and 53rd Street wasn't showing up in the (M) train feeds either.

I did not understand that last part at all.

There was also signal problems at Chambers Street on the (A)(C) Lines which lasted through the Rush Hour. There's always seems to be issues there and Canal Street at least 1-2 times every week.

8 Av is super busy so it makes sense to why there is frequent delays

The switches at Queens Plaza were probably stuck in their last position, straight railing as many places as possible does allow more trains through to clear out congestion.

WTC Master Tower seems to lay down and quite frequently. I wonder if its the solid state interlocking or the CBTC giving it trouble?

Speaking of SubwayTime, are there really (6) trains running to 241st Street? Or are those just (2) trains via Lex?

I saw a (6) to 241 on subwaytime a few minutes ago. It just disappeared from the boards altogether. Maybe a glitch.

They're still showing up (they might be rerouted (2) trains, IDK).

They are (6) Trains, someone caught a picture of one a couple of minutes ago traveling north at 3 Av-149 St via the (2)(5)

I have the picture, how do I post it on here?
