Multiple Impacts

2, 3, 4 and 5 train service between Manhattan and Brooklyn will be disrupted for tonight's rush hour because of a malfunctioning switch at Franklin Av that our crews will address later tonight.

Here's a summary of the service changes:

Southbound 4 trains will run on their normal route.

Northbound 4 trains will run express from Crown Heights-Utica Av to Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr. For service to Kingston Av or Nostrand Av, transfer at Franklin Av for a southbound 3 or 4 train.

Southbound 5 trains will end at Bowling Green. There is no 5 train service in either direction in Brooklyn.

2 trains and 3 trains are running on their normal route. 2 train service south of Franklin Av may be more limited than usual

Part Suspended

2 train service between Franklin Av and Flatbush Av-Brooklyn College is suspended because of multiple switch malfunctions near Franklin Av.

There is no 5 train service in Brooklyn.

Take the B and Q trains making nearby station stops and transfer to the B41 bus at Prospect Park for service to Flatbush Av-Brooklyn College.

Now some pissed off idiot customer jumped a conductor at Borough Hall which now makes this situation even worse yet.

All of QBL is out. Has been for an hour. Some (E) trains are headed to 168 Street in Washington Heights.

(E) , (F) , (M) and (R) trains are not running in Queens because of an AC power failure affecting signals.

For service between Manhattan and Queens, take a nearby (7) or (N) train.

See a station agent for a courtesy pass for continuing bus or subway Service.

UPDATE:

Delays  Posted: 07/22/2019 11:13PM

People are simply getting f**king pissed off about the subway these days and their only aggression is towards the conductor. There is no etiquette when it comes to speaking to a civil servant in a pleasant manner. This summer hasn't been good for the TA and Con Ed.

It's not TA and Con Ed's fault, the infrastructure is old and everyone using their AC is putting strain on the electrical grid.

Street.

Wait are they sending the (Q) via (D) or via (F) then back to (Q) at lex 63.

also...

Delays

Main St-bound (7) trains are delayed because a train's brakes were activated at Hunters Point Av.

Based on Subway Time it seems this was the last (7) train before the G.O. Intersting,

Edit: seems like there is one more that left 34th.

South Brooklyn is impacted yet again:

Multiple Impacts

There is no southbound service along the (B) or (Q) lines south of DeKalb Av.

Southbound (B) trains are being rerouted over the (D) line from DeKalb Av to Coney Island and southbound (Q) trains are being rerouted over the (N) line from DeKalb Av to Coney Island.

For service to/from bypassed stations, consider taking northbound (B) or (Q) service or see a station agent for a courtesy pass to continue your trip via nearby bus routes.

See http://bt.mta.info/ for real-time bus status.

Follow this link for more information on nearby bus routes: http://bit.ly/2K1N0qM

Expect additional delays until we can restore regular service.

(A) service is suspended in both directions between Euclid Av and Lefferts Blvd/Howard Beach while NYPD conducts an investigation at street level and after someone was struck by a train at 80 St.

Expect delays in both directions.

For service between Euclid Av and Lefferts Blvd, consider taking nearby Q8 and Q24 bus service that runs parallel to the (A) line. However, these may become crowded, so also consider taking crosstown Q10 and Q37 buses to the (J)(Z) lines.

For service to/from The Rockaways, use Q52-SBS and Q53-SBS bus service.

Please see a station agent to receive a courtesy pass for continuing bus or subway service. Find nearby bus information at http://bustime.mta.info

Well, it's good to see a more robust entry, at least...

I hope no one died, though the odds of that aren't particularly high.
