This looks inconsistent. So where exactly is the being cut? If there is work at Bergen Street, how is service possible from Jay Street–MetroTech to Coney Island–Stillwell Avenue?

The plan had trains turning north at 2nd Ave and turning south at 4th -- the project was a reboot of Bergen St interlocking. In the end, they just held service for 20 mins or so and turned one at 2nd Ave. service just got held.

Jova42R Posted September 25, 2019 Share #6560 Posted September 25, 2019 (edited) trains have resumed making regular station stops after NYPD concluded an investigation at Bay Ridge-95 St. Continue to expect delays in both directions as congestion clears. I believe it's because of the switches. Trying to place the switches into the correct position south of West 4th Street would put extra strain on the switch, and potentially cause it to fail. Instead of switching it for or trains, the switching back and forth between 6th and 8th Avenues, the switch can be placed solely towards the 6th Avenue local tracks. That means that the needs to run express. Remember, the operates approximately every 4 minutes.

Around the Horn Posted September 26, 2019 Share #6568 Posted September 26, 2019 Northbound trains are delayed while we remove a train from service at 68 St because a disruptive person shattered a window inside that train. There would be no benefit for a to share tracks with an for just one station to serve Spring Street. It would be best to keep trains out of each other's way in such a shuffle. CyclonicTrainLookout Posted September 27, 2019 Share #6570 Posted September 27, 2019 Multiple Impacts There are service changes and delays in and Rockaway Park trains while NYPD conducts an investigation at the South Channel Bridge. There is no train service between Howard Beach-JFK Airport and Far Rockaway-Mott Av or Rockaway Park-Beach 116 St in both directions. Far Rockaway-bound trains are ending at Howard Beach-JFK Airport or Euclid Av. Rockaway Park trains will run between Rockaway Park-Beach 116 St and Far Rockaway-Mott Av in both directions. LIRR is cross-honoring between Jamaica and Far Rockaway. Travel Alternatives: There is no service south of Broad Channel. Consider taking the Q52 and Q22 buses that operate between Broad Channel and Far Rockaway-Mott Av.
