There is no (6) train service in either direction north of Hunts Point Av while we investigate why a train's brakes were activated at Parkchester.

Southbound (6) trains are running on the local track from Hunts Point Av to 3 Av-138 St.

Some (5) trains are running on the local track in both directions between 125 St and Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall.

Actually, it was this, not the train’s brakes being triggered at Parkchester

Well, the trip cock tends to run into things when the wheels go on an adventure so it's very possible for the train to dump and not realize it's because the train derailed until you put your boots on the ground.

(M) trains run every 15 minutes between Essex St and Middle Village-Metropolitan Av as part of MTA's Essential Service Plan.

We're running as many trains as we possibly can with the crews we have available.

For alternate service on 6 Av, use (F) service. Transfer between (M) and (F) trains at Delancey St-Essex St.

For alternate service on 2 Av, use (Q) service. Transfer between (F) and (Q) trains at 34 St-Herald Sq.

Another unauthorized person at the same location?

(J) trains run in two sections: Broad St to Delancey St - Essex St and Broadway Jct to Jamaica Center - Parsons/Archer.

There is (J) train shuttle bus service between Broadway Jct and Marcy Av in both directions because of NYPD activity on Broadway at Marcus Garvey Blvd. Buses will travel along Fulton St and no stops will be missed along the detoured route.

Or just take the (F) to Lexington Avenue 63rd street, If you actually transfer at Harold square you’d wait a lot for a (Q) train to come due to the essential service... Tbh Lexington Avenue 63rd street is the best way to transfer.

There is no (C) train service available in Manhattan and Brooklyn.

(A) trains will make all (C) stops in Manhattan and Brooklyn to provide service at local stations.

We are running as many trains as possible with the crews we have available.

It doesn’t makes sense to bring the (C) train out because now the (A) train as to run local To Inwood-207th street to Far Rockaway or to lefferts blvd... Nice planning MTA...

The main issue I have with the MTA's tweet is that guy is clearly not on the tracks.

Well no, not at the second the picture was taken, but he got there somehow and the police are on the tracks to deal with the situation so the distinction is immaterial.

There is a partial suspension in service for (M) trains while we are unable to move track switches at Delancy St - Essex St.

(M) trains run between Middle Village - Metropolitan Av and Myrtle Av.

For Manhattan-bound service, transfer to a (J) train to Delancy St - Essex St.

(E)(F)(N)(Q)(R) at Lex-63rd. Imagine if the (M) was still running to 96th Street.

TRAINS REROUTED  Posted: 05/03/2020 12:44PM

There are delays and multiple impacts to (N) and (R) trains in both directions because we removed third-rail power so FDNY can respond to a report of smoke at Lexington Av/59 St.

There is no service on the (N) line between 57 St - 7 Av and Queensboro Plaza in either direction:
-In Manhattan,  trains are running on the (Q) line between 57 St - 7 Av and 96 St in both directions.
-In Queens, (N) trains are running as a shuttle between Queensboro Plaza and Astoria - Ditmars Blvd.

(R) trains are running on the (N) line in both directions between 36 St (Queens) and Lexington Av/63 St and on the (R) line to/from 57 St - 7 Av. There is no service on the (F) line between 57 St - 7 Av and 36 St (Queens).

Expect delays in (E) , (F) , (N) , (Q) and (R) service in both directions.

Alternatives:

For service between Queens and Manhattan:
-Use (7) service: In Manhattan, transfer between (N)(R) and (7) trains at Times Sq - 42 St. In Queens, transfer between (N) and (7) trains at Queensboro Plaza. Transfer between (R) and (7) trains at Jackson Hts - Roosevelt Av
-Take rerouted (N) trains to/from Lexington Av/63 St, where (F) and rerouted (E) and (R) service is available.

For service to/from Lexington Av/59 St, use Lexington Av/63 St, where (Q) , and rerouted (N) / (R) service is available.

For service to/from 5 Av/59 St, travel to nearby 57 St, where rerouted (N)(R) service is available.

For service along the (N) line in Queens between Queensboro Plaza and 30 Av, consider using Q102 bus service.
-From 39 Av - Dutch Kills, consider taking Q104 buses to/from 46 St - Bliss St .
